Empowering and Acknowledging Women in Science
At SK Food Group, we are proud to champion diversity and inclusion, and our upcoming event for the International Day of Women & Girls in Science on February 11th is a testament to this commitment. This day is dedicated to promoting equal access and participation in science for women and girls.
We also believe celebrating women and girls in science for just one day isn’t enough. So we’re planning to celebrate all month and what better way than to present five interviews with remarkable women from across the SK family of brands. Meet Liz Dumas, Ph.D., Food Scientist; Katelyn Richmond, Sr. Manager, Commercialization; Padma Khadka, Safety & Compliance Manager; Meghan Stevenson, Sr. Director, Food Safety, QA & Procurement; and Melissa Stone, Director of IT. These accomplished women embody excellence in their respective fields, and we’re thrilled to showcase their contributions during our event.
Along with featuring these women we are also working with schools to bring an SK Food Group representative in science into classrooms in our local communities.
