Frank Blenman was a former United States Navy, EM1, and E-6 Specialist, serving at the USS Shark SSN 591 in Groton Connecticut and stationed on the USS Woodrow Wilson SSBN 624 in Charleston South Carolina.

Frank is now a Maintenance Systems Manager in Columbus and has been with SK since 2021. We asked Frank a few questions about his work with SK and what he enjoys most.

What is your favorite thing about working at SK Food Group?

FB: The culture we have which acts as a catalyst to innovate, try new things, and not to be afraid of failures. I’m challenged and at the same time encouraged to find creative ways to solve problems. Every day brings something new and different, and that surprise motivates me. I like learning new things I never imagined I would have encountered or comprehended.

Why do you think people should join the SK family?

FB: The work environment feels like family. You are treated as one of the team on day one and you make a difference every day for the company.

What do you look forward to most in your day?

FB: The challenge to make it better than the day before.

Tell us a little more about yourself.

FB: Outside of work I enjoy camping with my family and traveling with my Wife. My hobbies are Hunting and Fishing and working on cars. I am also involved with many activities within our Church.
