Reaffirming our commitment to racial equity, diversity and inclusion.

SK Food Group has always had a people-first approach to business. We firmly believe that when we represent and amplify the voices and experiences of everyone at our company, we reflect the diversity of our communities and better serve our Associates, customers and suppliers.

February is Black History Month, a time to spotlight and honor the lives and achievements of Black people across society. As we reflect on the stories and contributions that have shaped history, it is also a time for us to reaffirm our commitment to equal representation and advancing racial and social equity.

At SK Food Group, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) policies, programs, and initiatives are led by our Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, who reports directly to our CEO. The Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Council (DIAC) is a group of Associates and senior leaders who work together to ensure our DEI goals line up with our business practices and foster real organizational change.

“When we’re talking about diversity, it’s not a box to check. It is a reality that should be deeply felt and held and valued by all of us.”
— Ava DuVernay, filmmaker

This Black History Month and every month, SK Food Group encourages everyone to support black-owned businesses where they live and work. We will be doing the same.
