SK Food Group is committed to quality in the production of our products. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant follows an approved HACCP plan of action from start of production to finished delivery. Our plant is inspected daily by a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) inspector, based at our facility. To insure adherence to all interstate product labeling and shipping laws, our facility is regularly inspected by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Additionally, as part of our food service program, our facility is inspected by a variety of federal, state, and local agencies. We also welcome regular inspections by our client companies who conduct their own subcontractor audits.
Our HACCP certified, in-house Quality Assurance (QA) team manages our quality assurance processes and performs strategic checks throughout each production day. QA inspects all incoming ingredients for quality and specification verification. They review internal and external storage facilities to ensure temperature compliance on a continual basis and monitor temperatures on our production line as individual products are being assembled.
QA conducts net weight verifications while tracking lot numbers and codes for production. They are also responsible for testing oxygen levels in our MAP products to verify they are within specification. A full-compliance team, QA literally follows each product from build through delivery, helping to guarantee safe and consistent products.
Known for our leadership role in the industry, we take an active role in ongoing scientific testing and food production safety. Working with our in-house team and independent laboratories and consultant groups, we are committed to product purity, safety, and integrity.
Before we receive any ingredient into our inventory, it is thoroughly inspected to make sure it falls well within established specifications. Samples are scheduled for regular collection and sent to our lab for testing to ensure the safety and quality of our products.
